My family and I have been going to the Wahiawa Hongwanji Mission for the past two years. We have been members of the temple for the last year and a half. This Shin Buddhist temple is great for families or really anyone. From the first day my wife, four children, and I attended a Sunday service, everyone we met was warm and friendly. They were also patient with our children. Our experience has been wonderful. My wife and I had been looking for a religious community that was not predicated on accepting a savior and Shin Buddhism met our requirements. Rational principles to guide my actions and a desire to meet folks where they are central in what I have learned at the Wahiawa Hongwanji. Thanks everyone!
