Great Park try to go when it's not the rainy season. Bring some off if you plan on going down into the ravine.
Wahiawa Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to visit in central Oahu. It is free. The plants are well labelled the path are easy to follow. The toilets are clean.It is advisable to use mosquito repellent before you venture into this quiet garden.The staff at the front desk is super helpful!

I lived on Oahu for 5 years and didn't know this treasure was here. Returning for a meeting with family along for the ride, Rental Car Agent recommended stopping at the Botanical Gardens on our drive around the island to show our little one where his siblings had grown up. The park is beautifully maintained, especially on the upper level. Do eucalyptus trees are magnificent. And best of all it's free. The natural ravines needed for walking to more remote parts of the park are not recommended for Non hikers. Several sleeper sidewalks were closed when we visited, for safety. All in all well worth the visit.
