Pork adobo was bland. Nothing adobo about it. Should call it pork boiled in weak pork stock. No flavor to the rice or noodles. Only frozen manapua for sale. I walk into a golden coin expecting to purchase a manapua. Instead got a plate of weak meat and flavorless statch.
Useless.. To be honest with the ratings here... Worst restaurant... With grumpy staffs... Orders are late... If you are early to pick it up, you expect your orders are there ready to pick up but its not yet... You gotta wait for it ... Not a good service...
Golden Coin specializes in bake, fried , mochi types of filipino deserts and the are delicious! ! But i dont care for the food that they have on food line, but fried chicken is awesome
Good selection of dishes, nice clean restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Most of the things I ordered was tasty-- Mongo beans, the pork kawali, and even the banana lumpia for dessert. Disappointed with the dinuguan--no taste, not enough vinegar, perhaps. I would definitely return, but I wouldn't order the dinuguan again.
Perfect place to pick up a quick, easy dinner for the family. I went there to get something for a potluck I didn't have time to cook for. Good food. Nice workers.
