I came here before, a loooong time ago and didnt really like it. Now, I love it!
This place has one of the best soups on town. Go early on weekdays as it's a small space and easily gets filled up by 11 am.
This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to. The food was nothing close to Vietnamese food. We ordered chicken noodle soup, beef noodle soup, a plate of BBQ and lemongrass chicken rice and coconut tapioca and we liked none of them. The noodle broth was way too sweet, chicken in noodle tasted very old. For almost $11 for a bowl of beef noodles they barely gave us enough beef. The BBQ chicken's flavor was too strong and burnt. The tapioca was ok. The waitress wasn't very friendly, no greeting, no asking how the food was, no thank you and goodbye. After we asked for boxes to go, she gave us boxes then never came back with a check or anything. We realized that they had a cash machine so we went there to pay (good thing was we sat at the corner where we could see the machine or else we would have kept waiting). The place was small and dirty. We'll never come back (note: Im a Vietnamese born and raised)
Absolutely love the Pho (pronounced fa) here. Great price and portions.
The portion was good and they give an enormous amount of vegetables (which I love). Prices were decent too!
Garlic Shrimp Pho is my favorite. The service is very good. Side plate provided with the Pho is giant. Small seating area so get there early for lunch. Shirts say "I
Beef and brisket pho was pretty dang good! I usually travel down to Kapolei to get some good pho. Now I know I can get some close to home.
