This is by far one of my favorite places on the island to get ramen and burgers from. Great hospitality and the prices are great. I assure you will get your every dollar's worth.
Food was excellent and service was pretty good. Only problem is that after getting our food quickly it took a long time after getting done it took a while to get the check. But overall great experience.
Old style saimin and comfort foods like BBQ beef on a stick (skewers), roast beef sandwich with gravy. Order ahead and it will be ready when you come, but beware of really cold Wahiawa weather when everyone has the same thing in their mind! Hot saimin! On those days, waits can be much longer than usual.
Nice. Small place. Been here forever. Local style. Not crowded on this December Saturday at 3 pm. Maybe everyone's shopping now. The menu photo by someone else is accurate, i.e. Vegetable Saimin (Small) $5.75. Had that today. Also the hamburger deluxe. Good. Gonna try the hamburger steak plate next time.
The food is yummy, the prices are nice, the service is friendly. It's a cozy place with comfort food that gives me the feeling like, "there's no place like home."
